To be fair, "South By Southwest" is a mouthful. As an Austinite, I'm staying the hell away from downtown this weekend. Looks like a lot of the outdoor events will be rained out anyway.

I don't get the hate for "South By". I know plenty of townies that use it. It's an efficient, effective way to get your point across. Standing against in on principle or whatever is about the most goddamned hipstery thing I've ever heard.
